When I first got Family Tree Maker years ago the their collection of family trees was just starting and I thought it would be a way to share my information with others and get some information from others.  So I uploaded my tree.  Little did I know I was giving them information that I and others would soon have to pay big bucks for.  I did not feel good about that.  If Ancestry World tree project, as it is now called, was going to make money off of us, they ought to have paid for the information we sent.
