Cornelia,

I headed over to www.familysearch.org this morning to help look for your
family.

I did like you and searched many different ways to find the family, but
like you, I came up with nothing!

Then I decided there had to be something for Eliza and her new husband.

I found this:

I wouldn't even have considered this family, except for the McElvane
living with them. Seems to me it could be the right family just a few
wrong names etc.... something easily done for a man with a new family.

If this is Eliza, then she must have married a man who just lost his
wife and was left with numerous children.

I will keep my eyes open and see what else I come up with. I might just
head over to www.stevemorse.org and see if I can find them on a ship
anywhere for that time period.

Let me know if this helps,
    Paulette
