Joan,by being in charge,I meant you seem to know all the rules and gently 
remind people if they've been on a subject too long,etc. The problem I'm 
having is  finding when my gr-grandfather ,Albert Rosenberg,is the one who 
came from Germany and when. I do know he died in 1890. It's rumored that he 
was Jewish which could be the reason noone,even my father,was told anything 
about his father's family. My gr-grandmother,Ernestine Dollos? came from 
Germany,Gdansk,was Danzig,Poland in the 1890's.I do have their family.How do 
I find when he came over. Every family had an Albert to this day. Also in 
Israel,some jewish people by the name of Jacobs changed their name to 
Rosenberg.I tink I'm mired in too much information that I don't know what to 
do with. I would appreciate your help. Thank you  Patt
