He is my brick wall. I am unable find his relatives in England. He left London in May of 1775 and landed in Maryland. He married twice first to Mary Ann Smith on June 19, 1778 had 3 children then to Mary Cole on December 19, 1797 and had one child. William Bury lived in Upper Marlboro and also Bladensburg where he had a blacksmith shop. He died April 18, 1822. I have been unable to located a grave. I would like to find an obituary. Does anyone out there have access to newspapers of that time? I can't even find his widow, who died on June 20, 1834 and where she is buried. Upper Marlboro and Bladensburg are in Prince Georges county, which is near Washington,D.C. Thanks,for any help you can give me. Ruth Bury
