Subject: [ROOTS-L] Chandlers on the 1810 &1820  Cumberland Co. Ky  Census is in the nexthousehold.

!810- Thomas Chandler was over 45 with 1 female26-45, 1 female 16-26, 2 males 10-16, 1 male 0-10 and 2 females 0-10.  John Chandler was 16-26 with 1 female 16-26, and 1 female 0-10.  They were neighbors near the town of Burksville. Other households were Smiths and Litterals.
   
  1820-John Chandler is shown as age 26-45 with 1 female 26-45, 1 female 10-16, 3 females 0-10 and 2 males 0-10. A Charity Chandler over age 45 , with 1 male 10-16 and 1 female 0-10 is also shown. A Benjamin Chandler age 16-26 with 1 female 16-26, 1male 0-10 and 1 female 0-10 is inthe next household. I believe John an Benjamin are the sons of Thomas Chandler and Charity is his widow.
   
  County Probate Records show a John Chandler died in 1823 and that his wife, Winifred Chandler ( nee Litteral), was made Guardian of their five minor children, Polly Chandler, Cinthia Chandler, Betsey Chandler, Thomas Chandler and Elsey Chandler. I know Mary "Polly", Cinthia and Thomas Chandler moved to Indiana and then Texas.Could someone check cemetery records near Burksville for the others? I would also like to share other information on these families. Thanks
