Subject: [ROOTS-L] Fred HAMPTON
Sender: roots-in@roots-l.rootsweb.com

Would someone who has an index to the 1930 census, please see if
there's a Fred HAMPTON who was born in Iowa 1878/1879? The last I
can find him is on the 1900 Henry Co. IA census shortly after he
married Mary Dobozy. She is later on the 1920 Decatur Co. IA census
with three children and said she was a widow. I know Fred Hampton
registered for WW I draft in 1917 while living in Jefferson Co. IA
but I don't know if he did die before the 1920 census or if, as I've
found in some instances, in case of a divorce, the wife says she was
a "widow". I've not been able to find a death/burial info on him.

Would appreciate it if someone can tell me if Fred Hampton was on the
1930 census.

Thanks much.

juanita
