Hello Shirley,
What I usually do when looking for older obituaries is contact the
public library in the place (city, town) where the newspaper is.
Libraries often have older newspapers on microfilm and will sometimes
send you a photocopy for a reasonable fee. The fee varies, but I've
gotten copies of obituaries from public libraries for as low as $1.50.
One library didn't charge anything so I sent them a donation.
