I found my grandmother's 1908 Los Angeles High School Yearbook in an old chest under the stairs at my mother's home. I am trying to decide what would be the proper repository for it. Would researchers best be served if I gave it to the Los Angeles Public Library, the High School itself, or some other L.A. organization? I can't imagine that any place outside of California would be interested in having it. The yearbook lists all the managers and editors of the "Blue and White" from 1897 on, and a listing of the faculty. It also has lists of alumni from the years 1905 through 1907 who are attending Stanford, Berkeley, University of Southern California, Occidental, Pomona, and State Normal School. Eastern schools include Michigan, Virginia, and DuPauw.
