Subject: [ROOTS-L] RE: WWI Records

Juanita,

Fred Hampton may have died from something not WWI related. My
Great-grandfather died from the "Spanish Flu" in 1918. He was 36 years
old. I've heard that the highest death rate occurred among young adults.
That segment of the population was generally thought to be least
vulnerable to infectious deceases. Both of his parents, his wife, and two
of his daughters were also ill and they all survived.

Dian
