Subject: [ROOTS-L] Old programs and XP

If you right-click on the icon of the old program, i.e., Ultimate Family
Tree, and on the menu, click on 'Properties,' one of the tabs on the box
that comes up is 'Compatibility.' Click on that tab, and you can change
the version of Windows to Windows 98, or Windows 95, whichever your
program needs to think it's running under. Doing that does not affect
any program other than the one you right-clicked on in the beginning.
