In fact, using the combinations of names, I find only one person with the surname Hampton, a Guy S. Hampton from Des Moines. Maybe he registered, but wasn't called up. I know he registered for the draft in Henry Co. IA in 1917 but I can't find him after the war. I wonder if he might have died during the war. His name may be listed as either "Fred" or "Edward" Hampton or by all three names. He used the three names registering. Thanks much. juanita
