Jim,

A couple of ideas that "may" help you. :)

I don't use XP but if it works like other versions of Windows you might
be able to find some solution if you look in the Help section and see
what if anything can be done to run older programs.

"If" you don't find a solution you "might" want to try the free
(Standard version of Legacy. I'm sure you know this but you should
backup your existing data. After that you can import it into Legacy. I
tried the free version and I liked it so much that I bought the
program. http://www.legacyfamilytree.com/Index.asp

I have no connection with Legacy in any way other than I use their
products. I can only tell you that even the free version has a lot to
offer. The Deluxe version which I use has many more report options, you
can add pictures and much, much more. If you download it you can buy it
for only about $30. I almost never recommend software. After using it
I think that Legacy is a bargain. It will even search your data for
possible errors and problems.

For basic family data entry the free version of Legacy is great! It's
free so you can't beat the price. :)

Another option might be to see if you can purchase a new version of the
programs you are using now.

I hope others might know more about options for your using XP and that
you might get that to work. It seems you really like the programs you
have now.

Cheers,
John in WI
