I have done very little on immigration records, but something I have observed about the Ellis Island
records is that the women were, at least sometimes, listed under their family name (maiden) not under the
husband's name. So, you might want to try that. Not that that gives you naturalization, but it will give
you immigration.

Also, depending on the time frame, the records may be in the county where they lived at the time of
naturalization.

Do you know where they lived? And when they immigrated?

Pat (in Tucson)

|Help! I have searched everywhere and cannot find immigration
|records for my great grandparents! Names are Josef and Josefia
|Pacer. Variations on first name spelling and last name could
|have been spelled "PACZER" They were from Poland, possibly
|Posen. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
