Subject: [ROOTS-L] Re: Using All Caps , Hope You Read :-)

Dear Group;

You know I very rarely add my two cents worth to the list, other
than to help others with thier searches. But you know this time I
feel I must say something.

I agree with John Berryman about some of the reasons for folks
using all caps. There are more reasons than we can all list. some
maybe about eyesight or lack of knowing better, maybe they are
newbies in thier searches. But no matter what the reason I am
ashamed of the fact that folks are so busy looking at others so
called short comings they can't see thier own faults. I am sure
none of us have perfect grammer or spelling or whatever as well as
I am sure none us are perfect period. So since we ourselves are not
perfect how can we sit in judjment of others ? And to say it all
you have a delete button don't you ? Or do you have such "unlimited
time" on your hands that you can spend it writing critizing and
"chastising" letters about others?

I always thought we came here to Rootsweb to help others no matter
how they wrote thier post. All you are doing in the end is
discouraging some from looking for thier roots and long lost
family. The best way to say all of this is before you go cleaning
someone else's backyard clean your own first. You are no more
perfect that they are. There enough said. You are more than welcome
to contact me offline whether you agree or disagree I don't want to
clutter this wonderful list with this thread any longer.

 Candi
God Bless You Always
