If the person is deceased or will give you permission to get their SS-5 form
it will reveal (in most cases), full name of the person, names of both
parents, address when the form was completed, birth date and birth place of
applicant, employer, if a worker, and sometimes other personal information
such as whether they are a veteran, a former employee of CCC, WPA, etc.
Cost of the SS-5 is $27.  If the person's name does not appear on the SSDI,
you must send along a copy of the death record to prove to the SS Admin that
the person is deceased.
