Subject: [ROOTS-L] figuring out cousin connections

I have a question from a 99 !/2 year old woman that I can't answer and I am hoping someone here can help me out.
   
  My father in law--Otis has a first cousin Jessie who will be 100 on July 27th. Although her memory is not good now she has been an invaluable help to me with their family history thru the years. 
   
  Now, my son has a baby girl and they have taken her over to see Jessie and she held her for such a long time that we were afraid Jessie would get too tired. We also gave her a book of baby photos that she takes to bed with her each night. Her big question now is what relationship she is to the baby. I can't tell her! Any help?
   
  Jessie and Otis are 1st cousins
  Dick --my husband--is Otis' son
  Sean is Dick's son
  Victoria is Sean's daughter 
   
  I get mixed up with 1st cousin 3x removed or 4th cousins--or whatever choices I haven't even thought of yet! Thanks for any help you can give me.
