So I am curious as to what Mrs. Barton ended up doing with these bibles? I would give anything to find my family bible. I know one existed but the older people in my family do not know what happened to it. So I hope Mrs. Barton took up someone's offer to that them in care in their library (CT) or do give them the the DAR. I feel a family bible is a priceless artifact for a family.
