Upper, born Mar 20, 1850, Ontario Canada. Married Emeline Moshier (Mosher), born Mar 17 1850, Ontario, Canada. Children of Joseph & Emeline Charles Henry Upper, born May 1873, Allanburg, Ontario. Lucy Upper born 1876 Rachele Upper, born 1879 Lewis Almer Upper, born Oct 4,1881 I've had some luck in following the descendant of Joseph A. Upper but who Joseph's parents were is still a mystery. The Upper family in Allanburg, Welland Co. Ont. were UEL.... George John Upper arived in USA 1764 on the 'Jennifer' from Rotterdam, and settled at Snooks Brook (East branch of the Pappacoting River) in Newton, Sussex, NJ. Around 1887 / 1888 the family migrated to Ontario. George John had 3 sons: John, Jacob and Major Anthony Upper. Now I need to see how my Joseph A Upper ties in with the original family.
