Reeves is that he acquired 400 acres of land in Wolf Creek Twp. in Mercer Co., PA in 1792. We were not able to find his family in PA on the 1790 census. However, we were able to locate them in said county on the 1800 census. His plantation was surrounded by the plantations of Wm. Buchanan, George Devour, Patrick Gibbon, and Robert Reed. We have a copy of his will date 08 Feb 1806. His executrix was his wife, Hannah, and his executor was Patrick Gibson. We also have a copy of the deed to his property , dated 30 Aug 1813. His children as stated in his will are: 1. Oliver, who later married Catherine, widow of George Devore. 2. Elizabeth, wife of Joseph Wiley 3. William 4. Agnes, wife of John McGee 5. Thomas 6. Mary 7. John, who later married Mary Elizabeth Sprigg and moved to Belmont Co., OH 8. Rachell Any info on the location of this family in 1790 would be greatly appreciated! ddipaolo@neo.rr.com
