Subject: [ROOTS-L] Suetterlin transcriptions and translations

Dear Listers,

In case you have old letters, church book entries or other old documents from your German ancestors, these papers are often written in old German handwriting, called "Suetterlin" or any other combination of different writings and can't be read by most of the people. I offer to transcribe these documents into today's writing and also to translate it into English, if required. This service is free of charge for Genealogists who are in need of the information. However, it is restricted to documents with genealogical content. Time needed depends on the extent and quality of the documents.

Please send your requests to: Ulrike@e-transcriptum.net

Please send the text in the text body of your message or send scanned files as attachment.

Do you require translations in other languages? Please contact: e-transcriptum. Many volunteers offer free translations for more than 60 languages!

Regards,

Ulrike
