Looking for info. James Reed came to PA abt 1726. was His son Capt John Reed,Sr. His son, Capt. John Reed,Jr. married Margaret Blythe, who's children were James, William: married Jane and Elizabeth , who married John Armstrong. John, Sr. died abt 1779, his wife married Capt. Charles Gillespie. Wm,Jane and Margaret buried in Keister Cem. Union Co. Reed Twp, in Dauphin Co named after family. They lived all around Lancaster Co area(Northumberland, Cumberland etc) as there were indian uprisings. Some of Wm's children moved to Ohio, were Wm owned land.
