Sanders) >> Subject: Passenger List of "Arlington" Passenger List of the Ship Arlington The following is a transcript of the passenger list for the ship Arlington which landed in New Orleans on 23 April 1849 after a 46 day voyage from London. The original list is on National Archives Microfilm Publication M259, Passenger Lists of Vessels Arriving at New Orleans. With the exception of the cabin passengers, all passengers gave their Nativity as "England." Justin M. Ryan Master or Commander of the Ship Arlington do solemnly, sincerely and truly swear, that the within List, signed by me, and now delivered to the Collector of this District, contains the names of all the Passengers, taken on board the said Ship at the Port of London or at any time since, and that all matters therein set forth are, according to the best of my knowledge and belief, just and true. I do further swear that none of the said Passengers have died on the voyage. Sworn, before me, this 23 day of Apr 1849. W.
